Payment Options at Carolina Vision Care
Carolina Vision Care's goal is to educate patients on proper eye health and help all of our patients achieve the best vision possible. We accept payments from most insurance plans and all major credit cards. We offer budget-friendly as well as high-end glasses in the optical department and the option of using FSA accounts as well as Care Credit Financing to accommodate you.
Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)
Many employers offer their employees flexible spending accounts. These accounts are also often referred to as health savings accounts. This money is set aside, pre-tax, for employees to spend on various health-related needs, as deemed appropriate by the employer. Often, everything from dental care, vision care, eyeglasses, contact lenses, and gym memberships can be paid for with a flexible spending account. If you're not sure whether or not you have a flexible spending account, talk to the human resources department at your job to see if your employer participates in this kind of program. Often, your flexible spending account can be used in tandem with any vision benefits you may have, helping to reduce your out-of-pocket cost.
Vision and Medical Insurance
Here at Carolina Vision Care, we work with insurance companies every single day, and we work hard to ensure that you have the lowest out of pocket cost possible. Many procedures are covered by insurance, but some are only partially covered, or not covered at all. Even with insurance, a co-pay is typically required for each office visit. Please give us a call before your appointment to check and see if we accept your vision and medical insurance at (252) 752-4380.
We understand that payment can be difficult in certain circumstances, and therefore we also offer Care Credit Financing to accommodate you. The Care Credit card helps make it easier to take care of the health and wellness needs of your family. It provides flexibility and convenience when paying for personal healthcare expenses that are not typically covered by insurance. Call us and we’ll be happy to walk you through the process.
